Make Money Blogging – What Is Your Strategy
Make Money Blogging, Do you have a strategy?
Have you leaped into Internet marketing with your blog and you’re still kind of fuzzy on what’s next? I know if you are new, you probably have. If you have some experience, you might be like me and sometimes get deterred or distracted from your objectives.
I have found that my success has been enhanced by breaking down my strategy in to categories.
Strategy 1 is based on my need to stay on top of the latest trends and products.
- I keep a list of areas that I feel I need to enhance my knowledge an I am willing to invest.
- I have a budget that I am willing to pay which is generally under $100.
- I try to find honest reviews before purchasing on places like the Warrior Forum
- If I sign up for the recurring billing items like club membership’s I make sure to save all the contact info so I can cancel if it is not beneficial. Even then I make it a practice to give it at most 3-6 months if they don’t keep the info fresh and updated with new ideas.
- I remain on the email lists of the creators of the products I have purchased looking for free stuff that I know will be offered and for new products. I almost always review what they offer.
- I use the The “Cost Of No” Strategy for myself. The “think it costs too much? What is the cost of not…” strategy tells allows me to analyse if the cost of not gaining the desired benefit could cost me way more.
Strategy 2 is more like a task list of what I have to accomplish on a daily basis but also involves the strategy I use to market products.
Daily:
- Morning’s are for putting the schedule together for the day.
- I modify one of the many articles I have gotten from my purchased from the article products I bought and I submit them to numerous Article directories.
- I make a blog post on at least two of my money blogs ( I have 5). Often I use one of the articles for the particular niche from the thousands I got from my purchases.
- I monitor the Warrior Forum for new ideas and product offerings.
- I check my Google Analytics statistics. This has turned out to be a great source for seeing what long tail keywords people are using to find my sights. I use these with the Google Sniper techniques I bought.
- Post blog posts to various shared directories.
Once a Week (usually Saturday mornings with my coffee )
- I read other blogs to check out other ideas and site designs and make comments to obtain linkbacks.
- I re-read the materials from the products I own for new ideas or things I might have missed.
- I read through the offerings that I have gotten via email during the week.
- Check my clickbank accounts for earnings and traffic statistics to adjust.
- Make note of any interesting looking niches to create a new blog.
Monthly
- Usually once a month I spend an entire day searching for a new niche to create a new blog within my notes, my purchased sources and clickbank.
- I revisit Google Sniper because it has a wealth of knowledge for starting a new niche blog and I always get a refresher.
- Create a new niche blog using the Blogging to the Bank and Google Sniper techniques.
Basically the key for word for most business owners is discipline. Get into a routine and be patient. This stuff works but not overnight!
